#Quotables
As a Culture of Readers, we believe in the power of sharing incredible literature with each other. Check out the quotes below from some of our favorite titles. (Click here to access Wakelet wall.)
2nd Grade SERIES Books
Second grade students are exploring different series book ideas in order to 'stretch' their personal possibilities. Fifth grade students are also working to support and encourage these younger readers by meeting with them to dialogue about their new books.
Finding NEW titles + Adding Value
3rd and 4th grade students are excited to not only discover new titles to read, but are utilizing their 'productivity and accountability' skills to ADD VALUE to their work to impact others.
5th grade students created audio excerpts of their favorite EVERYBODY books to help other students choose a great book to read.

Books Alive
Books Alive is a collaborative effort with grade 3 to become familiar with EVERYBODY books and to create an excitement for reading interactive text with kindergarten students.
#AskMeAbout
#AskMeAbout is a way our students are sharing a "HOOK" on an outstanding book they've read. Not only do they post their 'hook' on their lockers, but they share out via Twitter to brand themselves as readers and thinkers.
Blogging
4th grade students are BEGINNING to blog to share their voice and opinions with an authentic audience.
