Books Alive

Books Alive​ is  a collaborative effort with grade 3 to become familiar with EVERYBODY books and to create an excitement for reading interactive text with kindergarten students.

​​#AskMeAbout is a way our students are sharing a "HOOK" on an outstanding book they've read. Not only do they post their 'hook' on their lockers, but they share out via Twitter to brand  themselves as readers and thinkers.

Blogging

4th grade students are BEGINNING to blog to share their voice and opinions with an authentic audience.

2nd grade students have dabbled with blogging  on the nonfiction books they've read and wish to share with others.  Professor Planet made a visit to Forest Grove to ignite a renewed interest in the power of informational research.
